Collection: Spoke Guard Mounting & Fasteners

You can choose from three main systems — Zip Ties, Pins, and the BSP-Lock system. Each option provides secure, stable mounting and is compatible with both manual and electric wheelchairs.

Apart from color variations, BSP fixations are divided into three main categories — each designed for different materials and usage needs:

• Zip Ties — the standard and most universal option, easy to install and suitable for all spoke guard materials. Available in multiple colors and in reinforced versions for higher load resistance.
  
• Pins — offer a cleaner, more precise look than zip ties but require matching mounting holes on the wheel rim. These holes must align with the spokes, so please ensure correct positioning when ordering. Pins are available in various colors, including transparent options.
  
• BSP-Lock — an advanced reusable system developed by BSP for tool-free installation and zero vibration. Ideal for solid dark materials such as structural polycarbonate, matte-printed, or carbon spoke guards. Available in black and white color options.

Not exactly. Printed and transparent models come with standard zip ties, 2 mm structural polycarbonate versions include reinforced black ties, and carbon spoke guards are supplied with the BSP-Lock system. Please check the product description for the included fixation type. If you’d like a different fixation system for a specific model, you can select it through the Spoke Guards Customizer.

Yes. You can purchase replacement zip ties, pins, or BSP-Lock kits individually if you need spare parts or want to switch fixation type later.

Zip ties are single-use and should be replaced each time you reinstall the spoke guards. Pin systems are fully reusable and designed for long-term use without losing stability. The BSP-Lock system is partially reusable — only the top locking part can be reused. The lower adhesive base provides strong permanent bonding and should not be reapplied once removed.

There’s no difference between fixation types for manual and electric wheelchairs — all BSP systems provide the same secure and stable fit. You can safely use Zip Ties, Pins, or the BSP-Lock system on both types of wheelchairs, including those with powered hub drives. The choice depends mainly on your spoke guard material and personal preference, not on whether the wheelchair is manual or electric.

Yes. Standard models come with white zip ties, but if you want your fixation in a specific or matching color, you can select this option through the Customizer. Pin sets and BSP-Lock systems are available only in black for a clean, universal appearance.
